What is a Level 4 qualification and why should all Permanent Makeup and Microblading artists have one?

Did you know that some local authority officers are withholding treatment licences from Permanent Makeup and Microblading Artists without a Level 4 qualification? This means that they are no longer able to run their business until they obtain one, which has a catastrophic affect on their earnings.

At K.B Pro®, we want to make sure that your career is protected from the get go, which is why we offer an optional Level 4 qualification with our training courses.

So, what exactly is a Level 4?

A Level 4 is an officially recognised qualification which indicates a greater understanding within a specific field. It proves your specialism within your area and is equivalent to:

– Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE)
– Higher Apprenticeship
– Higher National Certificate (HNC)
– Level 4 Award
– Level 4 Certificate
– Level 4 Diploma
– Level 4 NVQ

A Level 4 qualification will ensure that you will satisfy the requirements needed to retain your treatments licence, and will safeguard your career in the event of a change in legislation in your area. There are three simple steps to getting your Level 4 with K.B Pro® if you have already trained with us:

1. Complete a simple workbook
2. Submit your already completed case studies
3. Prove you’ve been working as an artist for a minimum of six months

You don’t need to
–  Sit an exam
– Attend an assessment day
– Visit a Training Academy
