K.B Pro Coronavirus Service Update


A personal message from Karen Betts and her K.B Pro Team: important service update

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the positive response to our announcement about suspending our training activity last week. We believe it was absolutely the right thing to do to keep our staff and students safe, and my team and I really appreciate your support.

While we have had to temporarily suspend our training, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to keep our remote sales channels open. While I know our products are not essential goods such as food and household supplies, I also know many of you still want access to them during this time. My plan is to continue offering our product related services for as long as it remains safe for our teams to do so and is permitted by the UK Government. With this in mind, I want to reassure you about the carefully considered measures we have put in place to allow us to keep servicing you, while keeping our teams and the wider community safe:

  1. Safe Distribution Centre: our brilliant team in our Distribution Centre can’t work remotely so we’ve implemented enhanced hygiene measures – including sanitising all work areas before and after use, in addition to the UK Government guideline handwashing and sanitising advice. Plus, in our 10,000 square foot warehouse, we are operating with a significantly reduced team, and removed our next day delivery option to be able to keep this as low as possible. This reduction allows us to isolate team members from each other at all times, in line with the UK Governments social distancing protocols. In addition, we have ensured all our Distribution team have provisions in place to travel to work alone, without the use of public transport.
  2. Safe Delivery: our deliveries are managed through Royal Mail and UPS who are following the latest UK Government guidance to keep everyone safe and well.
  3. Excellent Customer Service: Our amazing team are now working remotely to continue to provide you with outstanding customer service both on the phone, online, through email and via our social channels. This means our office hours remain open from 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
  4. Encouraging Community: we’re seeing every day just how incredible our wonderful community of artists is, and so is our communications team. Working remotely, yet feeling closer than ever, we’re working on a schedule of positive and educational content that we can share while you’re not able to do what you love.

My team and I are of course keeping our eye on this ever-changing situation and will continue to follow advice from the UK Government. While I can’t promise exactly what the future looks like, one thing I can promise is that our dedication to you all will not change. Sending love and support to you all.
